I had to be downtown this morning to photograph a building on Meeting Street. I have been trying to capture it without the distraction of cars and crowds which has been difficult, so I figured there couldn't be too many people around at about 6:30 in the morning over a weekend. I was partly correct :) However, while I was down there, this building was looking wonderful in the pre-dawn light; the Daughters of the Confederacy Building on the corner of Meeting and Market Streets. I do wish they would fix that crooked lamp in the front right, and why not light them?Saturday, September 8, 2012
Daughters of the Confederacy Building
I had to be downtown this morning to photograph a building on Meeting Street. I have been trying to capture it without the distraction of cars and crowds which has been difficult, so I figured there couldn't be too many people around at about 6:30 in the morning over a weekend. I was partly correct :) However, while I was down there, this building was looking wonderful in the pre-dawn light; the Daughters of the Confederacy Building on the corner of Meeting and Market Streets.
